25-year-old woman arrested after fatal road accident in Laval
SPVM officers reportedly collaborated with their Laval colleagues to make the arrest.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday evening in the Montreal borough of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles, in connection with a fatal hit and run that occurred last week, on the #x27;highway 15, in Laval.
The tactical group of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) would have lent a hand to the officers of the Service de p Laval police (SPL) during the intervention near the intersection of Rodolphe-Forget and Maurice-Duplessis boulevards.
On September 15, a man from 53 years old had been seriously injured on the service road of the A-15, heading north, at the height of the Remembrance overpass. The police were then examining the theory of road rage.
The man has since died of his injuries.
Two charges will be filed on Wednesday: hit and run causing death and manslaughter, says Sergeant Geneviève Major of the SPL.
