3 dead in stabbings in Toronto

Two people were found died in an apartment at 27 Bergamot Avenue in Etobicoke.

Police in Toronto are investigating two knife attacks that left three dead Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning in different neighborhoods of the city.

The first attack occurred around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Jane-Driftwood area in the northwest of the city.

According to the police, two men were stabbed. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim was taken to hospital. The man was seriously injured, but his condition is stable, police say.

Just over three hours later, officers were called to a building in #x27;apartments on Bergamot Avenue in Etobicoke, in the west end of the city.

They found two people dead inside one of the apartments. A third individual was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police have apprehended a suspect in this case.
