The Porsche 908 is a famous racing model with more than one resounding victory to its credit. In particular, sports prototypes have won the famous Nürburgring 1000 km competition in Germany four times and the Targa Florio rally in Italy twice.
The Porsche 908 has been called the king of the winding tracks. In 1969, it was this model that brought Porsche victory in the World Championship in the Gran Turismo class.
