About 70 fires are raging in several provinces of the country against the backdrop of abnormal heat. According to unconfirmed reports, about 200 people were injured as a result of the incident.

The fires reportedly started about a week ago and quickly spread over a large area due to the abnormal heat that prevailed in the country during the summer.
Forest fire in Viña del Mar region in Chile has led the government to declare a state of disaster. Dozens of residents were forced to flee their homes after the fire was described as “rapidly spreading” in the region.
The National Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of the Interior (Onemi) said in a statement: “Due to the forest fire, it is required to evacuate the sectors of Puerto Montt, Puerto -Aisen, Cabritera, Forestal Alto and Tom Felipe Camiroaga in Viña del Mar.”
Now the total fire area is about 63,000 hectares, with about 70 fires raging in several provinces of the country.
It is noted that according to the latest data, about 200 people were injured as a result of the emergency, p about 500 houses were destroyed.
