Public complaints about wages, smearing the company with dirt on social networks, spilling corporate secrets to friends, demonstratively searching for other vacancies at the workplace — all these are manifestations of mistrust of the employer. In such conditions, it is difficult to talk about fruitful cooperation.

It is important to show that you will be loyal to the company, even if you part ways. Therefore, to the question “why did you leave your previous job?” never answer “were underpaid”, “the boss turned out to be an autocrat”; or “actions of the management sent the company to the bottom”. Let the dark spots of the former employer remain a mystery to the new one.


Bosses don't like pan-fraternity. Even if you get a job in the company of an acquaintance or relative, “in person” etiquette must be followed. It often happens that a suitor sees a young woman at an interview and starts flirting with her, allows himself an informal tone, switches to “you”. This is a serious mistake. No matter how qualified a professional he turns out to be, he is unlikely to be called back after this.

Before the interview, put your phone on silent mode so that you are not distracted by messages and calls. Show that you are focused on one goal – getting the job – and that nothing else is more important to you at the moment.


Nobody likes liars, including management. They plot intrigues, scribble denunciations, deceive, set up colleagues, go over their heads… In short, they spoil the atmosphere in the team and thus put sticks in the wheels of the work process.
