French collector Pierre Heron has collected dozens of rare retro cars. The French sports cars Talbot and Delahaye are especially valuable.
A whole collection of rare vintage cars has been discovered in France. Dozens of rare cars have been abandoned in a barn for decades. Now they have been put up for auction by Arctcurial, and a video of the unique collection has been published on its official Youtube channel.
The house and cars belonged to the French engineer Pierre Heron. It is known that he bought retro cars in 1965-1973.
Pierre Heron preferred French sports models, and especially loved the rare Talbot – he had about a dozen of these cars. The most valuable of these is the 1954 Talbot Lago T26 GSL coupe – only 15 of them were made.
And the 1958 Gregoire Sport is so rare that few people know about it. The Spanish coupe Hispano-Suiza Type 49 Coach of 1928 is also valuable.
The retro car is not in the best condition and needs restoration. However, at the auction, the starting price of some cars reaches 200 thousand euros. Bidding is scheduled for July.
