The layout of the Ukrainian UAV Sokol-300
The new attack UAV will be able to hit weakly protected or lightly armored targets. The project will cost about UAH 150 million.
In Ukraine, the Luch Design Bureau is working on the creation of the Ukrainian attack UAV Sokol-300. In a year, the device will be presented ready for testing. This is reported by Donbass Realia.
The project will cost about 150 million hryvnia, the cost of one device will not exceed 40-45 million hryvnia.
The developers say that in a year they will be able to present a device ready for testing, the development of which has been going on for a year and a half.
The new UAV will be able to lift 8-10 kg of cargo and will be able to hit weakly protected or lightly armored targets.
As a reminder, Ukraine has upgraded a version of the ACS-3 (Raybird-3) drone, which is used in the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for aerial reconnaissance.
It was also reported that in the Donetsk region, on the basis of one of the anti-aircraft missile battalions, exercises were held to destroy enemy UAVs.
