A new CEO named at the head of the CIUSSS MCQ

Natalie Petitclerc, who currently works at the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale, will succeed Carol Fillion.

A new President and Chief Executive Officer will join the Mauricie-et-du-Centre-du-Québec Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS MCQ) on August 1. This is Natalie Petitclerc, whose appointment was announced Wednesday by the Council of Ministers of Quebec.

Ms. Petitclerc currently works in the Quebec region, at the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS) in the Capitale-Nationale region. She is Deputy Director General Support, Administration and Performance. She is also director of major organizational and real estate projects as well as quality, evaluation, performance and ethics.

Natalie Petitclerc will become CEO of the CIUSSS MCQ in August 2022.

Natalie Petitclerc's appointment comes as COVID cases are on the rise and ERs are overflowing on the territory. The CIUSSS is also still grappling with major labor shortage problems.

Natalie Petitclerc will succeed Carol Fillion, who left her position in early July . Mr. Fillion had been in office for three years. His mandate was particularly marked by the COVID-19 pandemic and the lack of personnel.
