A series of thefts from Quebec hospitals

The thieves are suspected of having raged in several hospitals.

After arresting a couple for stealing computers containing computer data from the Laval University Hospital Center (CHUL), officers linked the suspects to other similar crimes.

Marie-Ève ​​Béliveau underwent her release hearing on Thursday at the Quebec City courthouse.

She is accused, along with Anthony Roy, of #x27;having stolen computers on the night of June 5 to 6, which contained employee files.

Béliveau is also accused of committing thefts at the University Institute of Cardiology and Pulmonology of Quebec, between the months of April and June.

The thieves broke into several employees' offices to commit theft.

She reportedly showed up there, with Roy, four times to break into the offices of employees, including those of doctors.

The couple allegedly stole iPhones and iPads, wallets and various documents.

He also allegedly stole from the Center de santé et de services sociaux de la Vieille-Capitale, in the Saint-Sauveur district.

Marie-Ève ​​Béliveau is trying to convince the court to release her, despite her numerous repeat offences.

The 40-year-old woman's criminal history spans 34 pages, noted the judge, who listed 99 convictions.

A native of the North Shore, Béliveau offers to go to therapy while awaiting his trial.

The judge has not yet rendered his decision.

The other accused, Anthony Roy, is still being held and is awaiting his release hearing.
