Scientists invited 50 dog owners to participate in the study, who first spoke about how they raise their pets. According to the results of the survey, scientists divided dog owners into three groups, depending on the style of their upbringing:

  • A group with the presence of an authoritative parenting style, that is, with high expectations and high response;
  • A group with the presence of an authoritarian style, that is, with high expectations and low response;
  • A group with the presence of a condescending upbringing, that is, with low expectations, but with a high response.
