A teenager assaulted after school in Montreal North
An armed attack occurred at the end of the day on Monday near Calixa-Lavallée school in Montreal North.
A 16-year-old young man was the victim of an armed attack on leaving classes at a school in the borough of Montreal-Nord, late Monday afternoon.
Around 4:20 p.m., several people called the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) regarding this event that occurred on the outdoor grounds of Calixa-Lavallée school, located along Henri-Bourassa Boulevard.

When first responders arrived, the teenager was found with severe injuries to his upper body, but he was still conscious. However, his condition was deemed critical when he was transported to a hospital.
The suspects allegedly used a blunt object to commit their crime and fled the scene, said Véronique Dubuc, spokesperson for the SPVM.
No arrests had been made in the early evening in this case. Around 8 p.m., the SPVM confirmed that the life of the young man was no longer in danger.
A perimeter was set up to allow investigators to analyze the scene. The police will meet with witnesses.
