The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is investigating the death of a 37-year-old woman and her 6-month-old baby found Saturday afternoon at Parc des Chutes in Rivière-du-Loup.< /p>
This is Laurence Couture Gagnon, who gave birth in Ukraine last March, at the start of the war.
Her body as well that of her baby were found by a passerby. Emergency services were then dispatched to the scene.
According to a spokesperson for the SQ, the thesis of the voluntary gesture would be preferred for the moment.
