“This year, we're going to get into the hard stuff on farm cash flow,” they say at the FDSEA to remind us that the situation of farmers is still fragile, one year after their big mobilization that blocked the A9 at the Nimes Ouest interchange for a week with dozens of tractors.
A real camp of life
This Wednesday, January 29, at 3 p.m., FDSEA and Young Farmers will plant banners at the roundabout accessing the motorway to remind us of their mobilization. “We're not going to block traffic but to remind people that we didn't get everything we asked for.” On the banners, we can read that “4,100 farmers are still fighting to feed you”.
On January 24, 2024, they set up camp on the A9 to force the government to give ground. A real living camp with dozens of tractors, living camp, barbecue, shock operations towards the purchasing centers and daily press briefings.
