All SNES Game Manuals Digitized Thanks To Instavid Artist Peebs

All Manuals Digitized… Except One, still wanted by instavideographer Peebs.

Instavideographer Peebs has managed to collect 174 video game instruction manuals for the SNES console.

A hundred nostalgics and video game history enthusiasts responded to the appeal from instavideographer Peebs to scan and upload all of the English language instruction manuals for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) console video games.

Peebs started this work eight years ago on the Twitch streaming platform. On it, he notably broadcasts his parts of video games published for the Super Nintendo console, with the help of the booklets provided with the titles. These manuals were veritable goldmines of essential gameplay information, especially in the pre-internet era.

“I'm trying to to beat all SNES games and found that there really isn't a good source for SNES manuals on the internet.

With his live videos, he managed to mobilize his community of fans – 6700 people on Twitch – especially owners of rare games, to digitize the missing manuals.

He is by elsewhere still looking for a final booklet to complete the collection: the PAL manual for the German version of Daze Before Christmas.

The entire collection of 174 textbooks can be viewed on a website created for this purpose, and on the Archives website.

Gamebooks of Nintendo 64 and Virtual Boy, Nintendo's virtual reality pioneer, are also available online.
