For the first time in history in Mexico, a citizen consultation was held to find out whether or not Mexicans agreed with the revocation of the mandate of < strong>AMLO, so the results to date show that only 18% of the citizens participated (equivalent to 16.7 million Mexicans) of the nominal list that has 92 million 823 thousand 216 people registered.

This means that said process will be without any power, since 40% of citizen participation was needed for the revocation issue to be taken into account, so the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador< /strong>, will continue to command the National Palace to complete the remaining years of his six-year term.

It should be noted that 57,436 voting booths were placed in Mexican territory so that all citizens could participate in the citizen consultation and cast their vote 3 years after AMLO took the presidency of Mexico, an action that has undoubtedly left some happy and others with a bad taste in their mouths.

The latest data available on the citizen consultation show that only between 6.5% and 7.8% of the people who went to cast their vote, chose that AMLO not continue in command of the presidency of Mexico due to lack of of confidence in the last actions that he has had during these 3 years that he has been in office.

On the other hand, between 90.2% and 91.9% of the citizens who made the decision to exercise their right to vote, they chose that the best option for Mexico is for President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to remain at the head of the National Palace and finish his six-year term without any problem in 2024. < /p>
