The BMW 323i has stood in a car dealership warehouse for 30 years and has not been on the road. The car is perfectly preserved, and its mileage is only 260 km.
In Austria, an old 1985 BMW 323i was put up for sale. For a fairly ordinary and non-collectible car, they ask for as much as 119,950 euros – like for a new Mercedes G-Class. The Carscoops website writes about this.
The fact is that this BMW trio is a time capsule. For 37 years, she traveled only 260 km. The car is fully consistent with the original, except that the oil filled in at the factory was replaced. The paintwork and interior trim are in perfect condition, and the tires of the car are native.
It is known that this car was a demonstration copy in the Belgian BMW showroom. It was never sold, and therefore it stood in the dealer warehouse for 30 years. Then the car was bought by a BMW collector. It is noteworthy that a few years ago, a BMW 323i E30 was already being sold for 70,000 euros.
The BMW 323i coupe is equipped with a 2.3-liter 150-horsepower petrol six and a 5-speed manual transmission. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and develops 202 km/h. In addition, an optional self-locking differential is provided.
The equipment of the car is quite rich, as for the BMW 3 Series E30 of the 80s. A sports steering wheel, Recaro seats, power steering, radio, power windows and mirrors are installed.
