Still from No Time to Die movie
Actress Ana de Armas, who played one of the main roles in the latest James Bond film, in an interview with The Sun told The Sun why the role of 007 should not be given to a woman:
There is no need for a female Bond. To gain power, you do not need to steal someone else's character. This is a novel, and it leads to the world of James Bond, to the universe where he lives.
Recall that last fall, the film No Time to Die was released, in which the role of Bond was played by actor Daniel Craig for the last time. Recently, rumors appeared on the network that a black woman could become the new agent 007. Also, according to rumors, Bond may become a non-binary person. The creators of Bond did not confirm these rumors.

In her interview, Ana de Armas said that she would like to see more meaningful roles for women in Bond films:
I would like female characters, despite the fact that Bond will still be a man, incarnated in a different way so that they have more significant roles and recognition. I think it would be more interesting.
Daniel Craig himself also spoke out against Bond becoming a woman: in an interview, he said that there should be other equally important female roles in the film.
