The car was sold by Ukrainian singer and producer Andrey Danilko. Earlier, he said that he bought a car ten years ago, but he could not import it into Ukraine. The car was stored in London and Danilko had to pay for its parking.

After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, the singer decided to sell the car to Freddie Mercury and send all the funds to charity. The buyer is also from Ukraine, but his name is not called. The proceeds will be donated to the Superhumans Rehabilitation Center.

“This is a legendary car, Freddie Mercury drove it until the last days of his life. All the money received at today's auction will go to the construction of a modern rehabilitation and prosthetics center to help victims of the war,” said Taras Krikun, a representative of the Superhumans Foundation.
