65-year-old German Chancellor Angela Merkel slipped and fell on stage during a speech at the meeting of the Federal Association of chambers of Commerce and industry in Berlin.
As it turned out, Merkel failed to see the stairs and tried to jump to meter the scene. The head of the government could not resist, lost his balance and began to fall, but managed to quickly stand up.
“Didn’t notice the ladder on the left. Next time you go on the stairs”, – there began the speech Merkel, turning padania as a joke.

About the decision not to seek reelection for a new term in 2021 and to resign as Chancellor Merkel announced in the fall of 2018. After that, according to her, she will no longer be eligible for any political office.
