WHO sets new daily record for COVID-19d
WHO statistics take into account only officially confirmed information on cases of infection and death provided by states.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has again set a record for the number of cases of coronavirus infection per day. New data for Saturday, November 14, posted on the organization's website.
“The number of confirmed cases of infection with the new coronavirus in the world has exceeded 53.16 million, having increased by more than 657 thousand in 24 hours, which represents a new maximum increase in the incidence per day,” the organization's website says.
Most of the infected specialists were recorded per day in Europe (more than 285 thousand), North and South America (more than 269 thousand) and Southeast Asia (more than 55 thousand).
In total, there are more than 53 million cases of coronavirus infection in the world for all time, over 1.3 million people have died.
As a reminder, Ukraine was included in the list of countries that will be offered a special price for the COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine when it appears. For its purchases in the budget-2021 UAH 1 billion is provided.
Recall that almost all Ukrainian leaders, including President Volodymyr Zelensky, have become infected with the coronavirus. The head of state is in self-isolation at the Feofaniya clinic, from where he exercises his powers and writes video blogs for Ukrainians.
