Antoine Dupont: his impressive career in the world of rugby
An international rugby union player, Antoine Dupont was born on November 15, 1996 in the Hautes Pyrénées. Since the age of 4, he has been passionate about this sport. He started by training at Magnoac FC, before joining the training center of FC Auch in 2011. After that, he joined the Espoir center of the Jolimont high school in Toulouse where he gets his science baccalaureate.
Ready to do anything to excel in rugby and make it his professional career, Antoine Dupont trains one after the other and manages to stand out from the other teammates. A job that finally paid off… In 2014, he joined the Stade Toulousain team, just after reaching the final of the French Crabos championship with FC Auch.
1m74 for 85 kg
It was at this moment that his career took off. The scrum-half won the French championship and was named World Rugby's Best Playerbetween 2019 and 2021. Not bad, right ? And that's just the beginning of his journey. On March 19, 2022, he played as captain and won the Six Nations Tournament. A few months later, on December 27, the 26-year-old was named the best French international player at the Nuit du Rugby.
Antoine Dupont began gain muscle mass when he arrived in the Toulouse team in 2017. He gained power, both in his thighs and upper body. Today, his physique allows him to compete with the biggest, despite his modest size for a rugby player (1m74 and 85 kg).
