Ary Abittan can now move on. In November 2021, the actor was indicted for rape following accusations from a former girlfriend. After many months of investigation, he was however found innocent on April 3, 2024. Indeed, the Paris Court of Appeal ruled a dismissal in this case.
Following this court decision, the plaintiff's lawyer appealed. On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Paris Court of Appeal, however, confirmed the dismissal. A real victory for the father. “From now on, there is no room for doubt about my client's innocence” his lawyer, Caroline Toby, also reacted.

Ary Abittan did not speak publicly after the confirmation of the dismissal. However, on Friday, January 31, he posted a video on Instagram to celebrate a symbolic date. “51 years old today! And still the same desire to laugh, share and find those who matter”, he indicated in the caption of the video where he blows out a candle.
The actor from What did we do to the Good Lord then went on to thank his fans for their support. “Thank you all for your messages, your support, your presence, whether near or far. You are my greatest energy. Looking forward to seeing you soon… and especially on stage! Thank you for everything”, he concluded. A message that therefore suggests that he intends to resume the course of his life.
The actor has decided to return to the stage
After the rape accusations, Ary Abittan was forced to put his career on hold. Although he remained silent for many months, the court decision last April motivated him à back on stage. The resumption of his shows has however triggered the anger of feminist associations, including the collective #NousToutes.
Despite the demonstrations to cancel certain dates, the comedian has shown himself determined to continue his career. At the beginning of the year, he thus indicated wish “continue to share strong, true and full of life moments” to his fans. A project that should come to fruition with the confirmation of his dismissal.
