At the Alès fairground, Cévennes & Cars is showcasing historic cars.

Dimanche 2 février, Cévennes & Cars a investi le champ de foire d'Alès pour sa traditionnelle exposition de véhicules anciens.

After a good month of rest, Cévennes & Cars had once again invited car enthusiasts this Sunday, February 2, to the Alès fairground. There was a crowd to see the vintage cars (predating the 2000s). In total, a little less than 80 vehicles, cars and motorcycles combined, were exhibited.

A flawless Fiat 124 Abarth and a full-speed R8 Gordini

Among them, this superb Fiat 124 Rallye from 1972, prepared by the manufacturer Abarth. Produced in a thousand copies, this car was until 1975 the muse of Fiat. She won the European Rally Championship twice.

Others had chosen a good old Renault 8 Gordini 1300 from 1964. This one, which was driven by Chris and Daniel Vigier among others, took part in the Rossel competition. In “French blue” color, this automobile, an icon in the world of French motorsport thanks to its affordable price, democratized sports cars among driving enthusiasts.

Finally, how can we not mention another Renault, just as legendary: the 1978 R5 Alpine. This French front-wheel drive “super car” was driven by the driver Philippe Salavert.
