Jannik Sinner has been on cloud nine since the start of the ATP Masters in Paris. Turin: in front of an enthusiastic audience; his cause, the Italian pocketed his prize. But on what he demonstrated during this semi-final and even since the start of the 2023 edition of the “Masters tournament”, the world No.4 fears no one. To hear him say, the support of the noisy Turin public made the difference in the semi-final against an opponent he had already faced four times in 2023, each time in the final, for a record of two successes each (Beijing and Basel for Sinner, Rotterdam, Miami for Medvedev). “It was a very, very difficult match, Daniil started the match playing better than me, I still managed to break him in this first set. Since I arrived here in Turin, I feel something incredible, it gives me crazy energy,” Sinner explained to the audience after his success, for the first time in the Masters final in his second participation. “I served very well, I am very happy with my performance and we will see what happens on Sunday,” underlined the Italian who will be aiming for an eleventh title, the fifth of the year.
