Entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has reopened his bid to acquire Twitter Inc. at the original offer price of $54.20 per share. Bloobmerg writes about this.

It is reported that Musk sent a special letter to Twitter. Twitter's San Francisco office said it received the email and intends to close the deal at the original price.

The publication recalled that Musk wanted to terminate the contract for the purchase of Twitter for several months. The document was signed back in April. However, then the billionaire doubted, as he considered that the company misled him about its user base and the prevalence of bots on the social network.

It is noted that Musk officially pulled out of the deal back in July. Therefore, the company decided to sue him so that he still made the purchase.

The material says that before the court session in Delaware, lawyers from both sides bombarded each other with subpoenas aimed at obtaining testimony and evidence. So, Musk's side had to demonstrate to the court that Twitter violated the terms of the deal. But Twitter lawyers argued that Musk decided that the deal was no longer economically profitable for him, and he only justified himself due to the problem with bots.

We also recall that Musk offered to end the war in Ukraine on the terms of the Russian Federation. An American businessman named 4 conditions for a truce with Russia, according to which Ukraine should become a neutral state. At the same time, in his opinion, the peninsula was given to our country as a result of “Khrushchev's mistake”.
