The new Chevrolet Onix is already being produced in Uzbekistan. The budget sedan has a chance to appear on the Ukrainian market.

Uzbek automaker UzAuto Motors signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazakh company Allur and the Azerbaijani company AzerMash. Together they will produce the new Chevrolet Onix in three countries. This is reported by the website Podrobno.uz.
The project was estimated at $570 million. Already in the spring, the first Chevrolet Onix sedans should roll off the assembly line of an enterprise in Kazakhstan. They will be assembled from Uzbek car kits. Later, production will also be established in Azerbaijan.
The new Chevrolet Onix 2022 is already being produced at the facilities of UzAuto Motors. The model has a chance to appear in Ukraine, because the models of the Uzbek assembly are presented on our market. Previously, they were sold under the Ravon brand, and now they are sold as Chevrolet.
New Chevrolet Onix 2022 — specifications and details of the Lacetti successor
The Chevrolet Onix sedan was developed by General Motors to replace the Lacetti and Cobalt models. It costs between $9,900 and $14,800. At almost 4.5 meters long, the car features a streamlined design and a large 469-liter boot.
The base 2022 Chevrolet Onix includes air conditioning and ESP, while the top version has parking sensors, climate control, cruise control, sunroof, blind spot monitoring, 8.0″ display and heated all seats.
The model is equipped with 1.2-liter gasoline engines – 90-horsepower naturally aspirated and 132-horsepower turbocharged. A choice of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available.
