Journalists note that the young man entered the Finnish University in the summer. A few days later, a Russian who did not serve in the army and did not receive any subpoenas decided to try his luck at the Russian border. However, the staff of the border checkpoint in Sortavala closed it up here as well, handing out a notice from the Smolensk military registration and enlistment office about a ban on leaving for two centuries.

At the same time, Valentina Matvienko, speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, claims that any Russian has the legal right to leave the country, since this is guaranteed by the Russian constitution.
