The Court of Cassation has just condemned the founder of the Islam party (acronym of “Integrity Solidarity Freedom Authenticity Morality”, founded in 2012) Redouane Ahrouch to a four-month suspended prison sentence under the law on sexism adopted on May 22, 2014 in a case that pitted him against political columnist Emmanuelle Praet, thus enshrining absolute respect for the principle of equality between women and men.
