Bloggers compared three powerful coupes with a V8 in a straight line race. The BMW M850i xDrive challenged the Lexus LC 500 and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Video of the ride was posted on YouTube channel Sam CarLegion.

The BMW M850i is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers 530 hp. and 750 Nm of torque. Sports car weighing 2031 kg accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. It costs $102,500.

The Lexus LC 500 luxury coupe is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 477 hp. and 540 Nm of torque. With a weight of 1983 kg, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. The price of the car is $94,600.

During the first attempt, the BMW M850i immediately broke away from the competition. Tires were able to catch the hook thanks to the proprietary xDrive all-wheel drive system. The rest of the cars are equipped exclusively with rear-wheel drive.

During the second race, the BMW M850i won again. The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat had the worst start due to slippage, but was able to get ahead of the Lexus LC 500, which finished last.

When starting from 50 km/h, the situation did not change. BMW once again finished first, leaving behind Dodge and Lexus.

According to bloggers, the result of the race was determined by the presence of all-wheel drive in the BMW M850i. Without the xDrive system, the sports car would most likely lose out to the more powerful Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
