The chances of Ukraine winning Eurovision 2023 have been announced. This was reported on the official website of the international music competition.
European bookmakers estimated the chances of winning the Ternopil group Tvorchi.
According to forecasts, Ukraine may again take first place in the song contest, which will be held in May 2023 in the UK. The chances of winning are 20%. In second place is Italy (9%), in third is Sweden (8%).
The top ten also includes the UK, Spain, Norway, Greece, France, Australia and Poland.
Musical group Tvorchi comes from Ternopil and consists of sound producer Andriy Gutsulyak and vocalist Jeffrey Kenny. The band's producer is businessman and blogger Petr Zastavny.
In 2022, the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won in Turin. According to the rules of the contest, the next Eurovision Song Contest was supposed to take place on the territory of Ukraine. However, for security reasons, the music competition will take place in Liverpool, UK.
