The actors presented a new film about the backstage life of Hollywood in the 20s of the last century .
58-year-old American actor Brad Pitt appeared at the preliminary premiere of his new film “Babylon” in New York. His bright linen suits, which delighted the audience in the summer, Pitt replaced with a more restrained and warm ensemble.
In front of the cameras, Brad posed in a stylish dark brown wool suit, complementing it with a white dress shirt without a tie and brown suede boots . The ensemble was completed with a warm checkered scarf.
The actor combed his hair back and hid his eyes behind aviator sunglasses.
In front of the public, the actor looked very at ease and enjoyed taking pictures on the way to AMC cinema.
In addition to Pitt, the leading lady Margot Robbie also came to the preview. She wore a large black pinstripe double-breasted blazer that, judging by the arrangement of the buttons, was originally intended for men. She completed the rest of her look with a simple white top and high-waisted loose-fitting jeans that almost dragged along the ground, completed by maroon pointy heels and a quilted green handbag. As a decoration, the actress chose a gold necklace.
The action of the new film “Babylon” takes place in the midst of the tumultuous 1920s, when Hollywood is beginning to transition from silent films to what would soon become the talkies. Brad and Margo appear to be industry stars who are involved in cocaine-fueled depravity in the film business.
The film mixes fictional characters with real ones. The cast also included Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Jean Smart, Tobey Maguire, his longtime friend Lucas Haas, Olivia Wilde, Max Minghella and Eric Roberts.
Viewers' opinions on the three-hour tape were divided: some applauded the actors, while others criticized the film for being a mess.
The movie is set to open in theaters on December 23rd.
