For her, these “conspiracy theorists” are like “cockroaches”. “It is very difficult to get rid of them”, she says before detailing: “A vermin got hold of the images of Brigitte Macron on a boat, in a swimsuit and who amused himself by showing her from all angles to try to prove that she is a man”.

These controversial photos have gone around the web and have accumulated more than 20 million views, even if we don't know “where comes the image, or even if it is a fabricated one”, warns the journalist. Because yes, in 2024, it is easy to modify reality, especially since the rise of artificial intelligence. “This kind of rumor has been going on since spring 2021″,  Alba Ventura denounces again. The goal ? To let off steam “in a delirium of fake news”.

Of course, these rumors reached the ears of Brigitte Macron, who decided to file a complaint with her brother for defamation against two women. The court's verdict will be given on September 12. “It's a scourge that must be fighted because it's not going to stop in our society.
