Viewers will see the new series of “The Crown” in November this year.
The fifth season of Netflix's historical drama series The Crown will reveal the worst side of the royal family. This opinion was voiced by socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, who is the daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol and half-sister of the 7th Marquess, on the air of the Good Morning Britain program.
Discussing the series, which will release 10 new episodes in November and show the 90s through the prism of the life of the royal family, with historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop, Victoria expressed her confidence that the new season will reveal the nuances that the royal family prefer not to remember.
“Three divorces in one year for the royal family is the worst series, it exposes the most negative sides,” she said, describing 1992, when all three of the queen’s children divorced, and a huge fire broke out in Windsor.
“I think it's too soon, and yes, it's disrespectful. It's only been a month since the queen died, the coronation is coming up, and Camilla… Everyone is really accepting her in her role right now, and that might introduce her in a negative light.”
However, she recalled that according to Netflix, the series is not a biopic, although many people who watch it consider “The Crown” a documentary.
Questioned , does Hervey know which members of the royal family are watching the series al, she replied that some people did see him, but did not name names.
The socialite is sure that the new season will be the most viewed, thanks to its scandalous content.
