Over the past weeks in Lviv reduced the number of positive PCR tests for COVID-19, but hospitals are filled to 95%.
This was announced by the head of Lviv city Department of health Vladimir Tooth.
According to him, the decrease of identified cases of coronavirus does not mean that people should cease to comply with quarantine, because it will help to protect yourself and others from possible infection.
“We are these days seeing a fairly high number of identified positive results in patients in the Lviv region. In particular, for these days we have registered 152 new cases, 54 of them – around the city. This is us to a certain extent good news, because for the past week, as a General rule, the figure hovers around 46, 32, 31 cases today – 54. If in the previous weeks, we have had 70, 80 and even 100 cases, and now we see some stabilization. But this does not mean that the situation began to decline because in our hospitals so many patients coming in every day, we have actually a filling today at the city facilities is 95%, and even though we write every day patients, but at the same time exactly the same to us and received,” – said Vladimir.
According to him, though the tension became less, but the number of patients is still quite high. So, in the hospital emergency room is 70 people, 5 of them in intensive care, 4 on ventilator, in the 1st hospital, more than 80 people and 70 people is located in the 8-th city hospital.
