CES is also the materialization of all the creativity of our human brains. The 2025 edition was once again the scene of astonishing innovations, not to say completely crazy. Useless, therefore essential.

TCL continues to highlight NXTPaper, its e-ink screen technology. At CES, it unveiled a smartphone equipped with a version 3.0 that allows you to transform any smartphone into an e-reader.
TCL explains that it has finally succeeded in combining the fluidity of a classic screen with the reading comfort of an e-reader. In reality, the NXTPaper 3.0 panel still needs a few adjustments to really compare to a classic screen. However, the results are much more satisfactory than previous generations.
Above all, TCL has developed a switch button that allows you to switch from a smartphone display to an e-reader displayin a handful of seconds. In addition to providing greater reading comfort, this innovation triples the smartphone's battery life, reaching up to 65 hours of use.

It is undoubtedly one of the products that caused the most ink to flow at CES 2025. The Kirin connected spoon, capable of salting food without salt, caused a sensation in Las Vegas.
The company behind this unusual spoon uses a fairly simple physical reaction (which we sometimes tested in middle school): the conduction of electricity by saliva.
Sodium cells stagnate inside our mouths. Rather than adding salt to our food, the Japanese company has designed a spoon capable of collecting these cells to deposit them on the tongue and thus give the illusion that the food is salty.
For electrical conduction to take place, you simply grab the spoon and bring it to your mouth. After half a second, a light signal indicates that the chemical reaction has taken place and that the food is salty. There are several intensity levels with rather random results. During our tests in the aisles of the show, we did not necessarily feel the sodium content. Above all, handling is perilous. Unless it’s a dexterity issue…

You've always dreamed of playing Elvis but don't know how to play a single guitar chord ? At CES 2025, the LiberLive guitar brings you a solution.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000This connected guitar with a futuristic design takes up the principle of the Guitar Hero game. Instead of strings, physical buttons are arranged all along the neck of the guitar. Each of them can reproduce a guitar chord.
The object is associated with an application integrating hundreds of songs on which the developers have added the chords to play. No need to reproduce the rhythm, a single tap triggers the rhythm corresponding to the song.
Easy as pie ? Yes, if you have never played guitar in your life. For others, the experience is very frustrating. In addition, the LiberLive C1 is sold for $799. Enough to buy a first real guitar with a few extra lessons.

No more battery in your smartphone while you are going out for a night out ? We have the solution for you ! CES2025 smartphone Swippitt

Who hasn't run out of battery just before going out for a drink with friends ? While some brands already allow you to recharge a smartphone in a few minutes thanks to fast-charging technologies, Swippitt's proposal remains unprecedented.
The Irish start-up has in fact imagined a device capable of replacing the phone's battery in less than 5 seconds. To achieve this feat, the user must first attach a case to their smartphone (an iPhone 14, 15 or 16 for the moment) integrating an interchangeable battery.
Then, a device that looks like a toaster changes the battery of the case in less than 5 seconds. It integrates five batteries that can be allocated to each member of the family. An application allows you to follow in real time the number of batteries available, their capacity, etc.
Although very attractive, the Swippitt remains a product reserved for consumers with comfortable finances. Indeed, each case costs 150 euros while the machine integrating the 5 interchangeable batteries is sold for 450 euros.

The keyboard that's causing the buzz at CES 2025! CES2025 autokeybo keyboard
♬ original sound – Lemon squeezer – Lemon Squeezer
If there was one product that would epitomize the madness of CES, it would be this one. The AutoKeybo is a keyboard with a mechanism that allows you to bring up a trackpad or half of the keyboard with a simple gesture of the hand.
The inventor of keyboard came up with this concept after suffering two injuries (one to the shoulder, the other to the wrist) that prevented him from switching from keyboard to mouse by moving his arm. So he came up with a keyboard that would respond to finger movements.
Cameras are thus placed in the center of the keyboard in order to observe the movements of the hands. When you want to make the trackpad appear, you just have to lift your fingers slightly to the side. The same gesture makes the keyboard spring out again.
Although spectacular, this keyboard is only at the prototype stage. Its creator is also looking for investors to improve its recipe and optimize the design in order to meet industrialization requirements.
So, which innovation do you think is the craziest ?
