Child prostitution: 12 arrests

Police from the Sûreté du Québec arrested 12 men.

The Sûreté du Québec arrested 12 men who wanted to use the sexual services of young underage girls.

The suspects are between 25 and 53 years old. Four of them were pinned down in Mauricie and will appear at the Trois-Rivières courthouse. They will be charged with luring in order to obtain sexual services for consideration from a person under the age of 18, or in clear terms, of having intended to resort to child prostitution.

They were released on a promise to appear. However, their identity cannot be made public until the indictment.

According to information obtained by Radio-Canada, the oldest of the men arrested, aged 53 , is known to police circles. He is a member in good standing of the Dark Souls, an outlaw motorcycle gang affiliated with the Hells Angels
