This Saturday, December 14, there are plenty of activities in Alès, in the Gard, at the start of the end-of-year holiday period. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a craft market (also Christmas), organized by the Vieil Alais association, is scheduled in the Grand’rue, rue de la République, and rue Jan-Castagno. On Place des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance, the synthetic ice rink is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (€2, skates provided).

The return of the parades and the little Christmas train

In the streets of the hyper-centre, a parade, enhanced by a meeting with Santa Claus, is expected at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. And this December 14 marks the return of the little Christmas train, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., leaving from Place Gabriel-Péri, to travel along the streets of Docteur-Serres, Saint-Vincent, Rollin, Taisson, de Beauteville, d’Avéjan, Salvador-Allende, Saint-Vincent and Boulevard Louis-Blanc.

Finally, the attractions of the funfair, installed on the fairground of Avenue Jules-Guesde, welcome the public again from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
