The compact pickup Citroen Oli has a brutal angular design and weighs only 1000 kg. The light electric car is capable of driving 400 km without recharging.
The original Citroen Oli concept car is presented. This is a prototype of an inexpensive urban electric car costing about 25,000 euros. The details of the car were revealed on the official website of the Stellantis concern.
< p>The new Citroen Oli is a small 4.2-meter pickup truck with a brutal angular design. It has a high hood, vertical windshield, massive bumpers and huge 20-inch wheels. There is a small cargo platform at the back with a length variable between 679-1050 mm.
The body panels are made of plastic and cardboard obtained by recycling and are easily removable, that is, if desired, they can be quickly replaced. Plus, they're lightweight, which is why a Citroen pickup only weighs 1,000kg.
< p> The doors of Citroen Oli are hinged, and there are no central pillars of the roof. The cabin has four individual chairs printed on a 3D printer. The floor is made from a single piece of polyurethane: it can be easily removed and replaced with a piece of a different color.
The front panel turned out to be very simple – there are a minimum of buttons and a thin display of a digital instrument panel. Removable Bluetooth speakers are located along its edges.
The Citroen Oli electric car is capable of developing 110 km/h. It is equipped with a small 40 kWh battery, but thanks to its low weight it has a decent range of 400 km. You can charge an electric car in fast mode by 80% in 23 minutes.
