As part of the Vistre flood prevention action program (PAPI) led by the Vistre Basin Public Territorial Establishment (EPTB), a civil security exercise will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in the commune of Vauvert.
This exercise will simulate a localized meteorological phenomenon that will lead in particular to a rapid rise in water levels, the occurrence of a flood of the Vistre and the implementation of various actions at the local level. On this occasion, the FR-Alert population alert system will be used.
It allows to warn in real time any person, holder of a mobile phone, present in an immediate danger zone and to indicate to them the conduct to adopt.

No action to be taken by the population

Also, this Tuesday, January 28, 2025, between 2 and 5 p.m., people in the exercise area (+/-10 km around the town of Vauvert) are likely to receive a notification on their phone.
As part of this exercise, people who receive a FR-Alert notification will have the opportunity to answer a questionnaire by clicking on a link in the message. Note that the population has no action to take.
