The collection includes both mass-produced Volkswagen Golf 2 and Jetta, as well as rare limited editions. The most valuable is the 160-horsepower all-wheel drive Golf Rallye.
Volkswagen Golf 2 collection in all possible modifications was put up for sale in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic). For two dozen cars, they ask for 2.2 million crowns (89,500 dollars). The announcement of the sale appeared on the Bazos.cz website.
The Czech collector decided to collect the entire family of the second generation Volkswagen Golf and its sedan version – the Jetta. The mass model of the C-class was produced for 9 years (from 1983 to 1992) and had many different options.
The owner wants to sell the entire collection, but is ready to consider offers to buy each car separately. Both mass modifications and rare limited models are sold. Accordingly, the prices of Volkswagen Golf 2 and Jetta vary significantly.
The most expensive Volkswagen Golf is a rare Rallye all-wheel drive hatchback with a 160-horsepower compressor engine. It was valued at $30,500, although it needs repair.
Other cars cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Among them are three-door and five-door Golf hatchbacks, Jetta sedans with two or four doors. For sale charged Golf GTI and G60, all-wheel drive Syncro, diesel GTD.
The condition of the cars is different: some have been restored and look perfect, others are in need of repair. The car comes with a lot of spare parts for them.
