To avoid cracking, you need to carry out regular preventive measures.
Problems with the skin of the hands often cause many questions. One of these serious problems is cracks on the fingers and in the interdigital areas of the hands, informs Ukr.Media.
Damage to the skin on the hands causes unpleasant, most often, painful sensations, interferes with performing normal daily work, even limits a person in professional activities.
There are many reasons for this phenomenon. Sometimes cracking of the skin on the hands is caused by serious diseases, for example, such as eczema, psoriasis, Reiter's syndrome, ichthyosis, diabetes, Sjogren's syndrome, fungal infections. In such cases, overcoming the problem requires complex special treatment and must be strictly monitored by specialists.
For most people who suffer from such a problem, all the factors that cause it can be divided into external and internal.
- washing hands, dishes, surfaces with aggressive detergents;
- working with soil, fertilizers, chemicals, chalk;
- lack of protection when working with such products in the form of household rubber or cotton gloves;
- cold and/or dry air in winter;
- excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays in the summer.
However, the main reason is internal
Because many people face the same external factors, but everything is fine with the skin of their hands. The internal causes are the lack of certain vitamins in the body. These are vitamins of groups A, B, E. Also, the appearance of cracks on the skin of the hands is characteristic of people with metabolic disorders. A stressful situation can cause cracking of the skin.
To avoid cracking, you need to regularly carry out prevention: wash your hands only with mild detergents; do not work with drugs without gloves; treat your hands with a nourishing cream rich in vitamins and glycerin; maintain vitamin balance in the body; avoid stressful situations.
If, after all, small cracks appeared on the skin, use nourishing or moisturizing creams and other means of prevention.
In cases of serious diseases, it is necessary to urgent appeal to a specialist. It is necessary to treat the cause, not the effect.
