In Croatia, polling stations were opened. The country held parliamentary elections. The vote originally was planned for the autumn. But due to forecasts about the deterioration of the epidemiological situation the government and the opposition agreed to organize the will early.
The main struggle for 151 seats is expected to unfold between the ruling party “Croatian democratic Commonwealth” Andrew Plenkovich and the left coalition “Reloaded” created this year. The opposition promises to fight corruption, to establish gender equality in all spheres of activities, to raise the minimum wage and reform the health care system.
While in the midst of the campaign the situation with coronavirus in Croatia deteriorated that opposition used to score.
