The series Netflix with Katherine Langford deserves that one is delayed there ? We told you what we thought !
Attention, the following article contains mild spoilers about the series Cursed. If you do not want to absolutely know anything, it’s probably best to go read our presentation of the series Netflix, or watch the trailer below.
It is a series for which it goes out of control immediately. We know from the first seconds, even from the trailer, that it is now a necessary program or almost. You can binge-watcher for hours. With Cursed, before starting the series, we didn’t know on which foot to dance. After ? The question it is quickly answered.
Cursed, a universe cursed ?
The universe of King Arthur and the Round Table is part of the myths of the most prolific and popular culture. But, the problem is that the quality is (too) rarely visit. We had a little hope this time. Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) in the lead role and a story signed Tom Wheeler / Frank Miller.
Yes but that’s it. At the end of a half-episode (and again, this is a generous estimation), we are already wondering what we’re doing here. But why was it decided to see this series ? Alternating between the ridiculous and the ultra-ridiculous, sequences that oscillate between a z series Z series and an episode missed of Kaamelott, the series Cursed is proving to be just simply embarrassing. References to the Round Table with the names of the characters are phoned about, but fail to convince.
Neither visually, despite a few, rare sunny spells in which one feels the paw of the authors of the comics, or a point of view of the actors, Cursed do finally manage to save this season, with episodes which will reveal finally endless. You spend more time, finally, to imagine what could have been if the series had really been the end of his ideas.
The worst part of it ? You may well be entitled to a season 2. The series manages to find an audience and the cast and the showrunner look confident. The curse will continue…
