What we do know is that Michel Blanc felt severe throat pain as soon as he arrived at the radiology center where he was to undergo a routine examination prescribed by his doctor. “His throat was itchy, he was having trouble breathing, and it started as soon as he arrived,” assured a source at Le Point. Contrary to what has been said, he was not injected with contrast agents, since no X-ray examination took place.”
“A routine non-intrusive and not requiring the injection of any contrast product into the body”, Marianne announced. A few hours before, he would have taken a common antibiotic in case of suspected kidney infection. “Michel Blanc suffered from Quincke's edema at around 2 p.m. in a radiology practice in the 14th arrondissement as part of a routine examination. He was quickly taken care of by the emergency services, resuscitated and transferred to Saint-Antoine. He died at 10:45 p.m. after his 6th cardiac arrest”, explained Laurent Valdigui, a journalist at Marianne.
