Marcia Cross (Bree) has responded to rumors about a potential Desperate Housewives reboot.
After having bowed out in 2012, we discovered long after the real reason for the shutdown of Desperate Housewives, while the series yet still fully rode on the success. Proof being, we can no longer count its multitudes of reruns in France, and the whole is now available on Amazon Prime Video. And almost nine years after its last episode, many viewers want to see Bree, Susan, Lynette and Gabrielle on screen again. Precisely, some rumors suggested a potential reboot, as is the case at the moment with many cult series. So, Desperate Housewives will it also have the right to version 2.0?

A fan account recently tweeted : “Our source at Hulu has confirmed that they are in the late stages of development for a 10-episode REVIVAL DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES! Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman are all ready to come back !!! Are you excited? “. But the one who lent her features to the mythical Bree Van de Kamp shattered all this rumor, since the actress replied: “It’s news for me!” Basically, Marcia Cross was not contacted for a potential reboot of Desperate Housewives and it should therefore not see the light of day anytime soon! Let’s stay in the nostalgia by discovering what became of the child stars of series.
