The enterprises of the Etalon corporation in Chernigov were damaged by 50-70% due to Russian shelling, but have already resumed work. In 2023, the launch of several new models is planned, including an electric bus.

The Chernihiv Bus Plant and related enterprises of the Etalon Corporation have returned to work since December. They were seriously damaged by Russian shelling this spring, but are gradually recovering and even developing new buses. This is reported by Auto-Consulting.
Russian troops fired about 250 shells and three missiles at Chernihiv plants. They were damaged by 50-70%, and the amount of damage was 30 million hryvnia. The glass alone needs to be replaced on an area of 20,000 sq. m.
During the summer and autumn, rubble was cleared at enterprises, electricity, water and gas supplies were resumed. Now 500 people are already working in the shops.
In 2023, Etalon plans to launch several new models at once. In particular, a 9.3-meter city bus A08621 with 72 seats, equipped with an Ashok Leyland engine with 167 hp, will appear. s.
The first Etalon electric bus will be the most innovative. The urban model A08611 reaches 9 m in length and is designed for 54 passengers. Its power reserve will be 200 km.
