While the rest of the third round will take place this Saturday, July 6   Wimbledon, Jannik Sinner qualified for the round of 16 after his victory against the Serbian Kecmanovic. Novak Djokovic, One Jabeur, Alexander Zverev and Iga Swiatek are expected on the courts this Saturday.

Face à Miomir Kecmanovic, Jannik Sinner did not fall in the trap. The Italian world number 1 easily defeated the Serb in three short sets (6-1 6-4 6-2) and 1h38 of play. The Transalpine team joins the eighth place Wimbledon final where ù he will face Ben Shelton or Denis Shapovalov.

Despite the score against him, Miomir Kecmanovic does not give up and the Serb picks up the lead again. 5-2.

22:01 – Sinner makes it through

After missing out Completely his smash on the first point of the game, Jannik Sinner loses an arm wrestling match in a long exchange. The Italian then relies on his first ball to make the difference and keep his throw in play.

21:54 – Kecmanovic does not abdicate

While Jannik Sinner confirmedé his break advances while leading the race. 0-30 and by tightening the game, Kecmanovic responds and stays in contact.

21:51 – Déj&amp ;agrave; a break

Jannik Sinner does not let Kecmanovic breathe and takes his serve from the start of the third set. The Italian took advantage of the opponent's unforced errors before making the difference thanks to its long line back.

After an 8th ace, Jannik Sinner gets a two-set ball at Nothing. On the next point, the Italian does not tremble and is only '&agrav; a set from the round of 16 at Wimbledon.

While Miomir Kecmanovic seemed better in this second round, Jannik Sinner ré alisé the break at the best moment, taking advantage of his excellent backhand success this evening. The Italian will serve to win the second set.

In a match played in several installments and relocated on court n°1, Donna Vekic eliminated Dayana Yastremska in three sets (7-6 6-7 6-1). The Croatian qualifies for the round of 16 at Wimbledon where she won. she will face the Spaniard Paula Badosa.
