The famous Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov got married for the second time. Veronica Welch, a lawyer from Washington, USA, became his chosen one. The director himself announced this by posting a photo on social networks.
At the ceremony, Oleg was in military uniform, and Veronika was in an embroidered dress and purple Manolo Blahnik shoes. It was in these, but blue, that the heroine of Sarah Jessica Parker got married in Sex and the City.
The ceremony was modest, but the guests still gathered. Among them were Ulyana Suprun, the former Acting Minister of Health of Ukraine, and Sevgil Musayeva, editor-in-chief of the online publication Ukrayinska Pravda.

This is not Veronica's first marriage. Her first husband was the former Chesno movement coordinator Andrey Kruglashev, they have a common child.
Sentsov has two adult children from his first marriage and a daughter, Emma, who was born in December 2020, from a relationship with journalist Yulia Babich.
On September 7, 2019, when the director was released, his daughter Alina met him at the airport, and the next day his mother Lyudmila, son Vladislav and ex-wife Alla arrived from Crimea. Alina stayed with her father.
His son and mother moved from the annexed Crimea only a year later. Sentsov wrote that his ex-wife did not want to let her son go. She accepted the annexation and raised the child accordingly, but two weeks in Ukraine was enough for him “for this veil to fall,” Sentsov wrote.
He hid his relationship with the mother of his youngest daughter Emma, but journalists found out who the mother of the child is . Babich reacted harshly, stating that “I am the mother of my child; I did not give birth to someone,” she wrote.
