Morgane Rivoal, a 13-year-old Breton schoolgirl, has not given any sign of life since November 25, 2024. The mother of the teenager who disappeared in Côtes-d'Armor launched a new appeal for help on social networks this Friday, December 6, 2024.

Morgane Rivoal, 13, left the family home in Côtes-d'Armor on November 25, 2024 to go to school. It was 7:14 a.m. The teenager never arrived at her school and has not given any sign of life since.

Since Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Rennes research section, experienced in complex investigations, has been jointly responsible for the investigation. Did Morgane run away ? Had a bad encounter ? Did she commit suicide ? All three hypotheses are being explored, declared Saint-Brieuc prosecutor Nicolas Heitz on Monday, December 2, 2024. None of them are privileged “at this stage”.

“Don't keep this detail to yourself”

This Friday, December 6, 2024, the young girl's mother, Aurore Rivoal, launched a new call for help on her Facebook account in order to collect testimonies.

“Anyone who saw her on the morning of Monday, November 25, 2024. Remember a detail, perhaps, that can really help us. Don't keep this detail to yourself, it can be very important for us, to find our beloved daughter”, she published, accompanied by another photo of her daughter and the appeal for witnesses.

“I love you my daughter”

On Monday, a week after her daughter's disappearance, Aurore Rivoal addressed her: “Come back to us, give us a sign, dad and I will come get you no matter where you are. We miss you, your brother, your sister and all the rest of the family and friends who surround us. I love you my daughter.” She also posted another message of love for her daughter on December 4th.

“A real malaise”

Her friends describe Morgane as a person “kind, discreet and reserved”, some evoking a “certain sadness”.

A “crumpled paper” was discovered by the police in the young girl's trash: “Dad, Mom, sorry I'm leaving”, it was written.

“It appeared that Morgane could have made worrying remarks and could be experiencing real discomfort”, specifies the magistrate who indicates that some of the teenager's friends spoke of “scarifications” that she “had inflicted on herself”. “She was fed up with school […] She mutilated herself. In the playground, sometimes, in the summer, I would see her. Sometimes it was the whole arm,” a friend confided.
