Ivana Trump is now buried on the grounds of the Trump Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and according to the laws of this state local cemeteries are exempt

The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, is accused of burying his ex-wife Ivana Trump on the grounds of his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, to take advantage of tax incentives provided local cemeteries. The Daily Mail writes about this.

Professor of sociology at Dartmouth University Brooke Harrington asked this question. “So I checked the New Jersey tax code and guys… it's triple tax avoidance. Property, income tax and sales tax are all excluded,” she said.

And a law professor: in New Jersey, cemeteries are exempt from income tax, property tax, and sales tax.

Under Garden State tax law, there is no minimum number of human remains that must be buried on land to be eligible.

Because of a previous deal Trump made with the local government, Bedminster is already subject to tax benefits, as the golf club is already designated as farmland, because it produces mulch for gardening.

Trump first announced plans to locate the family cemetery in Bedminster in 2007. Later, he wanted to make a larger cemetery there for 300 places and erect obelisks for the family crypt, but the public did not let him do this. Trump has repeatedly stated that he would like to be buried in Bedminster.

As a result, the first wife of the former US President, Ivana Trump, was buried on a plot near the first golf course on July 20. Recall that the former Czech model and skier was found dead in her home on July 14 after falling down the stairs. She was 73 years old.

Ivana's final resting place is marked with a wreath of white flowers and a shiny granite stone engraved with her name and date from birth to date of death.

The grave is surrounded by trees and faces the entrance to the course. This is the first of ten plots that were set aside for the Trump family cemetery.

By the way, it is not clear where Ivana Trump would like to be buried. It is unknown if her burial wishes were stated in her will.

But her memorial service became, according to the tabloids, perhaps the most “elegant funeral” this year. Farewell to the secular lioness took place in a Catholic church on the Upper East Side, where they were allowed only by invitation. Ivana Trump's coffin was golden, and the altar was decorated with huge bouquets of scarlet roses. Nearby were two large portraits of the deceased, including her 1992 Vanity Fair cover with the caption “Ivana, be a star.”
